Russian Foreign Ministry: NATO
The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry says that holding the largest military exercise after the Cold War by NATO member states increases the risk of military accidents.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): During a press conference, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry called the planned NATO exercise near the Russian borders "provocative" and added that the "Sturdy Defender" exercise could have "tragic consequences" for Europe.

According to the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, this exercise of the forces of the NATO member countries will operate for several months near the borders of his country in the territory of Norway and Romania, which he claims is "a deliberate step aimed at escalating the situation."

Mrs. Zakharova said that in this way NATO wants to justify its existence in the eyes of millions of Europeans and Americans and the high military costs, and also to divert public attention from the "failures" in the war "launched by the Kieft regime against our country".

The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that his country "has no plans to attack NATO countries."

It should be noted that after Russia's military attack on Ukraine, the relations between Russia and Western countries have become extremely strained.
