America allocated 12 million dollars to the Herat earthquake victims
Thomas West, the special representative of the US for Afghanistan, has announced the allocation of 12 million dollars of this country's aid to the victims of the recent earthquakes in Herat province.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The United States has announced that it will help the victims of the recent earthquakes in Herat with 12 million dollars.
 
Thomas West, America's special representative for Afghanistan, announced this financial aid today (Friday, 21 Mizan) by broadcasting a notice on his "X" user account.
 
He wrote that these donations are urgent humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquake in northwest Afghanistan.
 
Thomas West added that these donations will be useful for providing drinking water, shelter, blankets and other necessary supplies for the earthquake victims.
 
The US special representative for Afghanistan, while expressing regret for the damage caused by the earthquake, also said that this country stands by the citizens of Afghanistan.
 
It should be mentioned that last Saturday, a strong earthquake occurred in Herat, Farah and Badghis, and most of the casualties were in Zindajan district of Herat.
 
As a result of this earthquake, almost all the villages of this district were completely destroyed and thousands of people died and were injured.
 
After the first earthquake, several other earthquakes occurred in Herat, as a result of which the residents of this province were forced to leave their homes.
 
The last earthquake occurred in Herat on Wednesday, October 10, which injured dozens of people.
