Japan Contrebutes $18 Million for Life-Saving Vaccines in Afghanistan
Japan had contributed $18 million to supply essential vaccines for children and mothers. The Embassy of Japan in Afghanistan announced.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, According to a tweet from the embassy on Wednesday, April 26th, the donations were made through UNICEF in February of this year. This generous donation aims to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable women and children in Afghanistan.
 
In March, the Japanese government donated $21 million for life-saving vaccines for mothers and children and water and sanitation in schools.
 
The funding would help UNICEF to provide clean water for 30,000 people in four provinces and vaccines for 18.3 million mothers and children across the country.
 
As a friendly partner, Japan has always stood with the people of Afghanistan and has sponsored programs in education, nutrition, and health over the past two decades.
