Pakistani security forces have fired 173 artillery shells into three districts of eastern Kunar province in the past 24 hours, an official said on Tuesday.

AVA- Police spokesman Farid Dehqan told Pajhwok Afghan News 150 artillery shells landed in Sour Kamar, Zorbarol Shinki areas of Dangam district, 15 in Batash area of Narai district and eight others artillery shells landed in the Shonkari area of Sarkano district. The residents of the areas suffered financial losses due to the rocket attacks, he said.
One house has been destroyed due to the attack but nobody suffered causality, said Dehqan.
It is pertinent to mention that the residents of the area have been displaced, their farm lands destroyed and the forest also suffered damaged due to continued artillery shelling by Pakistani security forces.
