Moscow wants to hand over the seat of Afghanistan
Zamir Kabulov, Russia's special representative for Afghanistan affairs, in a meeting with Maulavi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Prime Minister, said that Moscow wants to hand over the seat of Afghanistan's representative in the United Nations to the Islamic Emirate.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Mr. Kabulov, emphasizing the expansion of relations and cooperation between the two countries, said: Russia's positive relations with the Islamic Emirate will continue and the investors of this country are also interested in investing in Afghanistan.

According to National TV, on the other hand, Maulavi Abdul Kabir appreciated Moscow's position towards the Islamic Emirate and said that the joint efforts of Kabul and Moscow can prevent threats in the region.

It is said that in this meeting, the political deputy of the prime minister expressed his hope that Afghanistan will be given official membership in the Moscow format meeting.

According to his writing, Mr. Muttaqi emphasized in this meeting that there is no need to appoint a UN special representative for Afghanistan.

In this meeting, the foreign minister called the relations between Kabul and Moscow very important and added: Afghanistan currently has active embassies in all the countries of the region.

Muttaqi stated: We are talking with the United Nations in order to announce our position after clarifying the agenda and composition of the upcoming Doha meeting.

On behalf of the special representative of Russia, while requesting the release of the blocked assets of Afghanistan, he invited Muttaqi to travel to Russia.

Zamir Kabulov called the caretaker government's approval to hold any meeting about Afghanistan important and stressed the lifting of US economic sanctions against Afghanistan.
