Officials of the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs announced the distribution of about 15.5 billion Afghanis in cash to more than 600,000 orphans, orphans, and disabled women in the country in the past year and said that the caretaker government without discrimination All disabled, orphans and homeless women are treated equally.
Afghan Voice Agency (Ava) - Kabul: In continuation of the accountability programs of the government to the nation today, Wednesday, August 21st, Abdul Hakim Haqqani, Deputy Minister of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs, explained the achievements of this ministry in one year and said: This ministry is responsible for serving the deprived and oppressed sector. 

He announced cash assistance in the amount of 15 billion 407 million 382 thousand 708 Afghanis to 612 thousand 88 orphans, orphans and disabled women during the last one year and added; These aids have been distributed to them on a monthly basis.

The Minister of the Ministry of Martyrs and the Disabled announced the distribution of food and non-food assistance from charitable organizations to 89,442 orphans, orphans and disabled women and said: So far, 653,265 orphans, widows and disabled have been identified across the country. Among them, 264 thousand 335 of them have been included in the system in the center and provinces.

He stated that the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled has signed cooperation agreements with 67 charitable institutions during the past year, adding that as a result of these agreements, the total value of 4,500,000 dollars has been provided to deserving and needy people.

This official of the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs announced that 28 thousand 183 orphans, orphans and disabled women were recognized as ineligible during the process of purification and clarification of this ministry last year and said that these people were removed from the system after being identified.

Mr. Haqqani pointed out that the current government treats all the disabled, orphans and homeless women the same regardless of gender, ethnic, positional, linguistic and religious discrimination and prejudice, he added; It does not matter to the Islamic Emirate who they are and even if they are survivors of the previous government that fought against us, it does not matter to the Islamic Emirate and the treatment is the same.

He also said: "Now all the disabled, orphans and survivors are martyrs of the people of Afghanistan, and the caretaker government is also the servant of the people."

The Minister of the Ministry of Martyrs and the Disabled announced the introduction of 990 orphans, disabled and homeless women for treatment to hospitals and health centers, adding: for another 3,885 people, regarding the arrangement of artificial limbs, physiotherapy, orthopedics and psychotherapy, services are provided.

He informed about the training of 120 disabled and orphans in the computer, electrical and sewing departments and said: After graduating from the training course, they also received the necessary equipment.

At the same time, Maulvi Kalimullah Afghan, the General Director of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled, named the continuation of the process of registering orphans, homeless women and the disabled among the priorities of this ministry and added: collecting and distributing cash and non-cash assistance during the year.

Officials of the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled, while pointing out that all expenses of this ministry are financed from the budget of the Afghan government, emphasized that efforts are underway to send aid to all disabled people through banking systems to prevent financial and administrative corruption.
