Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Abbas Araghchi, the proposed minister of the 14th government of Iran for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, explained his plans in the parliament today. In his speech, he said that the policy of good neighborliness will continue strongly during the term of his ministry and he will try to make the political and economic opportunities with the neighbors.

In his speech, he said that he called the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a bastion to defend the security and interests of the nation. In this regard, he added that one should interact with the world wisely, respectfully and with expediency.

The proposed minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran said: We should not lose our way on the path of "resistance diplomacy". He introduced the foreign policy of the 14th government as a "comprehensive, active and effective" policy.

Stating that "Iran's strategic balance" in the region and the extra-region has been greatly improved, Araghchi said that the diplomatic system should acknowledge this achievement and add to it.

He emphasized that everyone should distance themselves from false and costly dichotomies in foreign policy and that the only concern should be the pride of Iran and Islam.

In another part of his programs, this former diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs talked about strengthening the good neighborhood policy and added that efforts are being made to bring great political and economic opportunities in the area of ​​neighbors to fruition.

The proposed minister of foreign affairs of the medical government called relations with China, Russia and other countries that remained with the Islamic Republic during the sanctions, as well as emerging powers and new fields in Africa, Latin America and East Asia, as the priority of the fourteenth government's foreign relations.

According to Iraf, Abbas Araghchi visited Kabul on a one-day trip in 2017 and met with senior officials of the country. Then in 2019, he went on another trip to Kabul with the aim of discussing the comprehensive document of strategic cooperation between the two countries.
