Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The International Organization for Migration published a post on X channel and said that it has provided emergency aid to 130 families since the first day.
The International Organization for Migration also added that the teams of this organization have provided life-saving medical services to 257 other people.
Jalalabad city and Batikot, Sarkhroud and Behsud districts of Nangarhar province in the east of the country witnessed rain, storm and flood on Monday evening last week.
The Ministry of Public Health announced that at least 45 people died and more than 300 people were injured due to the storm and flood in this province.
It is worth mentioning that after that, a number of other provinces of the country also witnessed rainfall and flooding, which left losses and casualties.
