Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: As the month of Muharram approaches, the days of mourning for the martyrs of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and 72 of his companions, Khaled Zadran, the spokesman of the Kabul Security Command, spoke today (Monday, July 8). He told AVA reporter that to ensure the security of Muharram days of Ashura Hosseini, many meetings have been held with the presence of representatives of various security agencies.
The spokesperson of the Kabul Security Command has announced the establishment of cultural and security committees during the days of Muharram and Ashura Hosseini in Kabul and says that the security committee includes representatives of the ministries of interior, defense, special units, and the general directorate of intelligence.
He added that there are representatives of Shia in these two committees, and the work of the committees will proceed with their coordination and advice, and all the decisions of these committees are with the coordination of Shiite scholars.
The spokesperson of the Kabul Security Command stated that various coordination groups have been created in the virtual space between security officials and representatives of mosques, takayas and Shia scholars so that if a problem arises, it can be resolved as soon as possible.
