Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Central Bank of Afghanistan has published a newsletter saying that the annual meeting of the International Islamic Economic and Financial Forum will be held on May 28 and 29 this year, with the presence of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, ministers of many Islamic countries.
In this forum, the development and management of the Islamic financial system based on the principles of Islamic Sharia, the development of trade between Islamic countries, the creation of appropriate institutions for better management of zakat and endowment, sharing the experiences of Islamic countries, and some other topics were discussed.
This board has also discussed in various meetings about establishing coordination between Sharia boards of central banks, Islamic banking financing related to takaful, sukuk, waqf, electrification of banking transactions, risk management and a number of other issues.
