Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: In honor of the martyred President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and other martyrs of the air crash in this country, the flag of the United Nations was flown at half-mast and the flags of the member states of the United Nations were flown at the headquarters of this organization.
So far, the governments of 8 countries, including India, Pakistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Cuba and Tajikistan, have announced public mourning, and more than 60 other countries in separate messages have expressed the martyrdom of Ayatollah Raisi and his companions to the Iranian government and people.
It should be mentioned that Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the 8th President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, had a plane crash on his way back from the opening ceremony of the Qiz Qalasi Dam to Tabriz city, in Warzaghan region of East Azarbaijan Province.
