But a day later, the Ministry of Defense called the statements of the Pakistan Army spokesman irresponsible and far from reality and claimed that ISIS extremists are using Pakistan's soil against Afghanistan.
The ministry said by publishing a statement: "We have cases where Daesh Khawarij entered Afghanistan from Pakistani soil, and Pakistani soil was used against our soil, and the incident was organized from that country. Pakistan must answer in this regard."
The government of the Islamic Emirate has so far not said anything about the joint announcement by the United States and Pakistan about ISIS operations outside Afghanistan, but the government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has repeatedly said that ISIS does not have a physical presence in Afghanistan, and some other countries exaggerate the capabilities of ISIS.
