America and Pakistan agree on increasing anti-terrorist cooperation
The United States and Pakistan have said in a joint statement that the two countries have agreed to increase cooperation to fight against terrorist groups such as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and ISIS during the talks on Friday.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Washington and Islamabad issued a joint statement on Monday, May 13, saying that the bilateral dialogue on May 10, hosted by the United States, will deal with "the most important challenges for regional security and "Global" was focused.

During these talks, the two countries have agreed to exchange exercises and technical skills, help each other in research and judicial matters, improve the border security system, and increase cooperation in educational matters.

These negotiations between these two countries have been held at the same time as the increase in terrorist incidents in Pakistan, as a result of which hundreds of people, including the security forces of this country, have been killed.

The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed most of the responsibility for these violent incidents, which Pakistani officials claim has a safe haven in Afghanistan.

The joint declaration states: "Pakistan and the United States recognize that cooperation to counter the Khorasan branch of the Islamic State (ISIS), Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and other terrorist organizations will enhance security in the region and serve as a model of bilateral and regional cooperation to counter It acts with the threats of transnational terrorism.

In this declaration, the abbreviation of a group affiliated with the Islamic State based in Afghanistan known as ISIS-Khorasan is used, which usually carries out terrorist attacks in this country and beyond its borders.

In their talks in Washington on Friday, Pakistani and American officials emphasized the cooperation of all institutions of the governments of the two countries and the expansion of relations to prevent extremism and violence.

Pakistan's senior military and civilian officials have repeatedly accused the government of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan of harboring the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan group and said that this group organizes and executes terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

Following such claims, General Ahmed Sharif, the spokesman of this country's army, said on May 7th that the attack on Chinese engineers in Pakistan was planned in Afghanistan in March and the attacker was also an Afghan.

But a day later, the Ministry of Defense called the statements of the Pakistan Army spokesman irresponsible and far from reality and claimed that ISIS extremists are using Pakistan's soil against Afghanistan.

The ministry said by publishing a statement: "We have cases where Daesh Khawarij entered Afghanistan from Pakistani soil, and Pakistani soil was used against our soil, and the incident was organized from that country. Pakistan must answer in this regard."

The government of the Islamic Emirate has so far not said anything about the joint announcement by the United States and Pakistan about ISIS operations outside Afghanistan, but the government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has repeatedly said that ISIS does not have a physical presence in Afghanistan, and some other countries exaggerate the capabilities of ISIS.
