The media reported that the Special Representative of the United Nations Women's Department in Afghanistan had a discussion with the Deputy Governor of Kandahar about women's issues.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Kandahar Media Center announced in a newsletter that Alison Davidian met with Hayatullah Mubarak during his trip to Kandahar and discussed issues related to women.

According to the newsletter, Mrs. Davidian assured that she will expand her activities in Kandahar.

On the other hand, it has been said that the deputy governor of Kandahar has demanded the establishment of a medical hospital for mothers and children in Kandahar.
