Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: On Thursday, the 6th of Thor, the former president of the country, Hamid Karzai, met and talked with Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the ambassador and special representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Afghanistan affairs.
Hamid Karzai stated in this meeting that peace and stability in the region is for everyone's benefit.
In this meeting, Karzai, pointing to the good historical relations between Iran and Afghanistan, thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its support and cooperation to the people of Afghanistan in different periods of time, including in the fields of education and providing scholarships.
The former president of the country also called the education of girls a vital issue.
Hamed Karzai's X official account says about this meeting that the current developments in Afghanistan and the region were also discussed in this meeting.
Meanwhile, Hassan Kazemi Qomi has had several meetings with some officials of the caretaker government and prominent political figures of Afghanistan during the past few days.
