In order to expand relations with Afghanistan, Uzbekistan will receive the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in the near future
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said in a meeting with the Economic Deputy of the Ministry of the Islamic Emirate that his country is ready to receive the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in the near future in order to expand political and economic relations with Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Press Office of the Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister's Office published a newsletter saying that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister, met with Bakhtiar Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and his accompanying high-ranking delegation; He discussed economic and trade cooperation and regional connectivity.

Mullah Abdul Ghani, Baradar of Akhund, said in this meeting that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan follows an economy-oriented foreign policy that is focused on regional connectivity, and to achieve this goal, it needs the cooperation of the countries of the region, especially Uzbekistan.
 
Economic Deputy Prime Minister on increasing the level of transit through Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, developing trade relations, developing railway networks, investing in Afghanistan, transferring electricity to the country, solving transportation and customs problems, and also bilateral joint cooperation in the field of higher education for Afghan youth in various fields.

On the other hand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said in this meeting that his country is ready to receive the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in the near future in order to expand political and economic relations with Afghanistan.

Mr. Saidov added that Afghanistan's position of using the Amu Sea is valuable for Uzbekistan, and he is ready to cooperate with the Islamic Emirate in the technical sector of the Ghoshtipeh canal and the implementation of modern water supply systems in Afghanistan.

On the other hand, Bakhtiar Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and his accompanying delegation, in a meeting with Maulavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the Prime Minister, said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has made significant achievements in the past two years and the stability and economic growth of Afghanistan is unique compared to the past forty years. 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan added that our visit to Afghanistan will open a new page of cooperation between the two countries, and Uzbekistan pays special attention to cooperation with Afghanistan.

He also said that Uzbekistan has started the stage of technical studies for the construction of Imam Bukhari (R.A.) school in Mazar-e-Sharif.

However, Maulavi Abdul Salam Hanafi said in this meeting that the Islamic Emirate is fully ready to continue cooperation with Uzbekistan in economic, commercial, transit and cultural fields.
