Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Yesterday (March 6), UNICEF's Afghanistan branch said on X channel, former Twitter, that it has distributed more than 90 million ready-made food packages to treat 715,000 children suffering from malnutrition.
UNICEF thanked the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Embassy of Japan in Kabul and several other agencies and institutions for their cooperation in preparing these aids.
Rogers Wanyama, head of the World Food Program in Afghanistan, says that according to their estimates, during 2024, about four million women and children in Afghanistan are at risk of malnutrition.
