Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "William LaPlante", the deputy of supply and logistics of the US Ministry of Defense, said that Washington is starting the joint production of military equipment with foreign countries, including Ukraine, the European Union and Australia.
During a speech at the Washington Center for Strategic and International Studies think tank, LaPlante explained: "We will start joint production of weapons with Australia, the same applies to Europe. We are even launching a joint production line with the Ukrainians in their country."
According to "Sputnik" news agency, he recalled that at the NATO summit in Lithuania, international cooperation for the production and supply of weapons was given great importance because development in this direction will be of great importance to NATO.

According to this report, LaPlante stated: "Next week, equipment tests will be conducted for Ukraine, but if an agreement (to prevent the US government shutdown) is not reached in some way, the tests will not be conducted."
