AVA - Development Projects Implemented in Nangarhar

Three development projects completed in Nangarhar province, providing locals with access to irrigation water and transportation facilities. Local authorities announced on Saturday.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, These projects include the construction of four kilometers of roads, the cleaning of 1,400 meters of irrigation canals, and the construction of a retaining wall in the Kot district of Nangarhar province.

The director of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Nangahar, Mawlavi Qesmatullah Mubarez told BNA that the development of these projects has made it simpler to carry passenger and commercial motorcades, in addition to supplying water to hundreds of acres of agriculture and saving the destruction of multiple dwellings and farmlands from potential floods.

These projects were constructed for three million Afghanis provided by DAKAR and UNDP organizations.

Villagers in the Kot district expressed their happiness with the efforts of the Islamic Emirate for the development efforts in their region.
