According to Isna, local media have reported four survivors of this sunken boat, whose passengers had left from the city of Sfax in Tunisia.
Since the beginning of this year (2023), more than 1,800 people have died on the way from North Africa to Europe.
Tunisian authorities say: the port city of Sfax is located 130 kilometers from the island of Lampedusa and is one of the main routes for migrants who want to reach Europe.
