More than 80 people were saved from frostbite in Kandahar
According to the officials of Kandahar province, more than 80 people who suffered from frostbite and its consequences in Shah Walikot, Khakriz, Nish and Mianshin districts of this province were saved from death by the attention of the relevant institutions and were sent to Mirwais Hospital for further treatment and care.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Haji Zaid, the spokesman of Kandahar Governor, says: Haji Muhammad Yusuf Wafa, the Governor of Kandahar, before the arrival of the cold wave, including the health departments, the head of combating natural disasters, the Red Cross, and also the officials of the civil and military departments in the city and districts of this province. They were given to be awake and ready day and night during the cold wave and take care of the families caught in the cold and provide them with the materials they need.
 
He added that after the guidance of the governor of Kandahar, in the city and all the districts, including the health, civil and military departments, the district governors, officials and mujahedeen also took care of the families suffering from colds and provided them with the materials they needed, including medical supplies, clothes and other materials. It was edible, they placed it between them.
 
Reassuring the residents of Kandahar, Mr. Zaid said that this department is fully prepared to deal with this cold wave and will take care of them when the residents of this province face the problems caused by the cold and frost.
 
This is despite the fact that in most of the provinces of the country, due to heavy snowfall, the roads have been blocked for the people, and it has become difficult to transport patients and provide fuel for them.
