At the end of the meeting on the damages and adverse effects of climate change in Afghanistan, the deputy of the National Department of Environmental Protection stated that Afghanistan is the most affected country from the negative effects of climate change and said that the Islamic Emirate is committed to combating climate change with all partners. 
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Dr. Zain al-Abidin Abed, Minister of Professional and Policy of the National Environmental Protection Agency, evaluated the results of this meeting and said: the research results can help related institutions in policy and strategizing in the field of climate change. help and the opinions and suggestions of the participants help to accelerate the activities in the fight against climate change.
 
Abed emphasized that climate change management is one of the main priorities based on Afghanistan's national environmental policy and has implemented major programs at the national level in the fields of water resource management, agriculture, forest restoration and renewable energy in relation to climate change.
 
He said: Currently, there is a good environment for implementing projects in Afghanistan, and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is committed to working with all partners to combat climate change.
 
He said: Afghanistan is the most affected country in the world from the bad effects of climate change. Therefore, it is the right of Afghanistan to help Afghans in the fight against climate change; While 32 Afghan projects in the field of climate change have been postponed by donor institutions, which should be started and implemented as soon as possible.
 
It should be noted that the results of this discussion revealed that the victims of the adverse effects of climate change are the ordinary people of Afghanistan and all the losses are borne by the poor people of the society.
 
In this meeting, it was emphasized to avoid the politicization of environmental issues, to start Afghanistan's pending projects as soon as possible, and to compensate Afghanistan for the damages caused by climate change.
