Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum says that Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, the acting minister of the ministry, met Murad Amanov, the executive director of the TAPI project, and Khawaja Awadov, the ambassador of Turkmenistan in Kabul.
 
Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum said in this meeting that the transfer of the gas pipe should be done in coordination with the Afghanistan Environment Department and it should be done in such a way that the environment is not harmed.
 
Shahabuddin Delawar said that the preliminary works of the TAPI project are going on quickly and its practical work will start in the near future.
 
In this meeting, Mr. Amanov expressed his satisfaction with the recent progress of the TAPI project and talked about the practical start of this project in the near future.
 
At the end of this meeting, the ambassador of Turkmenistan gave information about the recent trip of the Afghan delegation to this country and said that a delegation from Turkmenistan will visit Herat province in the near future.
