Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: This nine-story commercial center was built in less than three years.

High-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate who were present at the opening of this commercial center emphasized the importance of this project in strengthening the country's economy.

Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, said at the opening ceremony of this large center that the land for this project was state-owned and was built by Sun Sky Global.

Hanafi stated: "The total revenue from paying rent will be paid to Emirati departments and 70 percent to the affected people and investors."

Abdul Wasi Khadem, head of the Prime Minister's Office, also said: "This commercial center has been designated for banks, exchange offices and other commercial sectors."

Abdul Manan Omari, acting minister of labor and social affairs, also called the construction of such projects an important step in reducing unemployment and creating job opportunities for citizens.

Abdul Manan Omari added: "In such a situation where unemployment is high in Afghanistan, the completion of such projects will provide work opportunities for a large number of our compatriots."

Meanwhile, the builders of this commercial center say that they have other major projects under construction, including a large oil processing plant in the north of the country and a standard hospital for the treatment of cancer and tuberculosis in Kabul, which will invest a total of more than $50 million in these projects.

“We plan to build a modern oil refinery with the highest international standards with an initial investment of $25 million and eventually $35 million,” said Mohammad Hanif Halimi, one of the project’s officials.

The commercial complex, which has a capacity for more than 1,800 vehicles, also has a large mosque and advanced facilities that have been operated for 30 years as a partnership between the government and the private sector.
