Kabul, (AVA)- On behest of the ministry of interior affairs the academy of training public protection police force established in a ceremony on Monday.
The ceremony was attended by Star general Besm-e-llah Mohammadi, the minister of interior affairs, Loi Pasowal Mojtaba Patang, the deputy of public protection ministry, and general John Allen, the NATO general secretary.
Besides pointing to the importance of the training academy for police forces, Besm-e-llah Mohammadi said the ministry of interior affairs established the training academy last year.
He added establishing the academy of training public protection could be the first step of opening other training academies.
The interior affairs minister said the public protection has played key role on protecting the Afghanistan economical infrastructures.
According to the president Karzai the Afghanistan national security forces should take the control of whole Afghanistan and reinforce the public protection forces could help the security forces with providing the Afghanistan security.
Loi Pasoval Mojtaba Patang, the deputy of public protection ministry, said presenting the training opportunities and facilities for public protection forces is a way to reinforce them. Increasing the courses, increasing the beds of dorms and improving the services are the examples of such facilities.
He added the more training qualification improves, the more forces skills increases.
General John Allen, the NATO secretary general, said establishing used to be an impractical plan but today they can play key roles in providing the security in Afghanistan.
Talking about the president Karzai speeches on transferring the security of the Afghanistan to Afghan security forces, Allen said reinforcing the public protection forces could accelerate the security transition process.
