Medical sources say Israeli troops have injured a Palestinian farmer in the southern city of Khan Yunis in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Israeli troops opened fire on an area in Khan Yunis on Tuesday Press TV reported.
The Palestinian farmer was shot in the thigh, the sources said.
No further details of possible casualties have been reported so far.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians at a checkpoint near the village of Kufr Qaddoum in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday.
Israel denies over 1.5 million people in Gaza their basic rights, including the freedom of movement and the right to decent living, work, health and education.
