List of 1,468 Palestinian prisoners handed over to Hamas

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – International Service: The Hamas statement said that after a month of communication with the occupation regime through intermediaries, the list has reached the resistance and the Palestinian Prisoners Information Office plans to publish the names through official platforms.

 

Since the start of the Gaza war, the Zionist regime has arrested hundreds of Gaza residents and transferred them to its prisons; while the fate of a number of them remains unknown. The regime’s authorities have adopted strict measures against Palestinian prisoners and deprived them of basic rights.

 

According to Al Jazeera, Hamas has emphasized that the Zionist occupation regime bears full responsibility for the lives of all prisoners and that any manipulation or change in the list of names would mean a violation of its obligations. The movement also announced that the Zionist regime has forcibly hidden a number of other prisoners and has not yet provided any reports about them.

 

Hamas has called on the mediators to pressure the occupying regime to identify the names of all prisoners and detainees and to guarantee their rights.
