Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – International Service: The Egyptian Foreign Ministry's statement said that these consultations were held within the framework of Cairo's continuous efforts to reduce tensions and strengthen regional security and stability. Abdel Ati emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to build trust, provide suitable conditions for further cooperation, and create a real opportunity for diplomatic solutions and the resumption of talks.
According to the report of the newspaper "Al-Youm Al-Sabae", during these contacts, the existing cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency in the nuclear file, as well as the latest developments related to the upcoming meeting of the Agency's Board of Governors, were discussed. The Egyptian Foreign Minister stressed the need to continue the talks within the framework of multilateral mechanisms in order to strengthen the nuclear non-proliferation regime at the regional and international levels and to enhance global security and stability.
On the other hand, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, while praising the efforts of the Egyptian President in expanding the peaceful use of nuclear energy, considered the "Al-Dabaa" nuclear power plant project as an example of cooperation and coordination between countries and the Agency, and emphasized that this project can help advance Egypt's national development goals.
