Meeting on Accreditation and Rating Process of Private Hospitals in Kabul

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Public Health, in a press release, said that Maulavi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services Delivery of the Ministry, held a meeting with the surveyors of the accreditation and rating process of private hospitals.

According to the press release, the meeting was attended by Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director General of Therapeutic Medicine, Dr. Haider Khan Haider, Director General of Preventive Medicine, Dr. Ahmad Khandan, Director of Private Sector Regulation and Coordination, Dr. Zabihullah Harith, Director of Primary Health Services, and Maulavi Saifullah Muawiyah, Executive Director of the National Health Center Accreditation Agency.

The press release adds that Maulavi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister of Health Services, emphasized complete transparency in the process of accreditation and grading hospitals, saying that the process of accreditation and grading hospitals must be carried out in accordance with criteria and based on facts to improve the quality of health services, ensure patient safety, and increase people's trust in health services.
