The sixth meeting of the Private Sector Support Fund Steering Committee was held with the approval of new decisions
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced that the sixth meeting of the Private Sector Support Fund Steering Committee was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, chaired by Ahmad Zia Khalid, Head of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate of Administration and Deputy of the Fund Steering Committee, with the presence of members of the Fund Steering Committee.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The news release added that in this meeting, a report on the actions taken in response to the decisions and rulings of the fifth meeting of the Steering Committee was presented, and then various issues were discussed and reviewed.
 
It was said that these issues included the process of hiring the Fund's operational team, the construction of the four-walled Kabul Special Export Zone, the construction of canopies, warehouses and cold storages worth 200 million afghanis from the Fund's budget in the country's ports, a plan to build a sports and commercial complex, and other related issues. After discussion and exchange of views, the necessary decisions were made.
 
The press release stated that on the sidelines of the meeting, presentations were made on various projects, including the construction of a sports and commercial complex and a special export zone in Kabul. The office of the Fund's operational team was also opened, and team members who had been recruited through a competitive process were introduced to the leadership committee.
