Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, emphasized in a speech the expansion of the country's relations with the Arab countries of the region and said: Lebanon is the land of all Arabs and our hand is extended to all Arab brothers and my relationship with Saudi Arabia has never been severed.
He referred to the positions of Lebanese political groups in relation to the criminal attacks of the Zionists in Lebanon and said: What is incomprehensible and unjustifiable is that the position of the Lebanese in relation to what "Israel" has done and is doing and its intentions for Lebanon is not unified.
In his remarks, which were published by the Lebanese media, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, referring to the repeated violations of the ceasefire by the Zionist regime, raised the question: "Where and when has Israel adhered to even a single clause of the ceasefire agreement?" and stated: This is the aggressive nature of Israel.
Referring to Lebanon's adherence to the ceasefire agreement, Nabih Berri said: Over the past 11 months, the resistance has not fired a single shot and Lebanon has implemented all its obligations under the ceasefire agreement south of the Litani River.
The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament also called the allegations of arms smuggling into the country by sea, land or air a complete lie and baseless.
At the same time, he assured that the parliamentary elections will be held in Lebanon on time and that there will be no delays or extensions.
Nabih Berri emphasized the need for unity and internal cohesion in the country, saying: "The current crisis that Lebanon is facing is the most dangerous crisis that I have personally faced, and it is also the most dangerous crisis in the history of Lebanon. Saving Lebanon is not possible, and there is no choice but unity, and unity is still the only option before us."
