Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Al Jazeera, the Sudanese army announced the deployment of a large number of troops to Kordowan.
A source affiliated with the Sudanese army told Al Jazeera: The army has deployed a large number of troops to this region in order to control more areas in Kordowan.
The military source emphasized: We are engaged in intense clashes against the Rapid Support Forces in some cities of Kordowan.
The military source reported that the army has taken control of the Qazqil region and some other areas in Northern Kordowan.
It is worth noting that Sudan has been the scene of bloody clashes between the army and the "Rapid Support Forces" since April 2023; a war that has threatened the lives of millions of people and, despite its humanitarian and catastrophic dimensions, has been absent from global headlines for a long time.
The Sudanese crisis is not limited to death and displacement. The country's economy has collapsed, health and education services have ground to a halt, and the people are facing severe shortages of food and medicine. International organizations have documented the situation as one of the world's largest humanitarian crises, describing it as "the greatest modern humanitarian disaster."
