Explosion in Indian capital; At least 8 killed, 12 injured
According to Indian media reports, on Monday evening (November 10, 2025), two powerful explosions occurred near the historic monument "Red Fort" in the Indian capital, New Delhi, killing at least 8 people and injuring 12 others.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to eyewitnesses, the intensity of the explosion was such that several vehicles caught fire and the windows of nearby buildings were broken. One witness told the media: "I fell down three times due to the intensity of the explosion. I felt that we were all going to die."
 
According to the Hindustan Times newspaper, rescue forces, fire brigade and police were immediately dispatched to the scene of the incident. A team from the Delhi Police Special Unit has also been deployed to investigate the extent of the incident and assess the damage. The Delhi Fire Brigade announced that it received the initial call about the explosion at around 7:00 p.m. local time.
 
While the exact cause of the explosion is still unknown, security officials have launched a wide-ranging investigation. Some sources have suggested sabotage or a terrorist attack, but no group has yet claimed responsibility.
 
The incident occurred near one of New Delhi's busiest tourist and historic areas, raising concerns about public safety in the Indian capital.
