UAE withdraws from participation in Gaza “international force”
UAE officials announced that a clear framework for the formation of an international force in Gaza has not been presented so far, and in such circumstances, Abu Dhabi’s participation in the plan seems unlikely.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Anwar Gargash, advisor to the UAE president, stated on Monday that given the lack of a clear framework, it is unlikely that Abu Dhabi will participate in the international force to maintain stability in Gaza.

According to Arab 48, Gargash said during the Abu Dhabi Strategic Forum: “The UAE does not yet see a clear framework for a stabilization force. In these circumstances, it is unlikely that it will participate in such a force.”

He added: “However, the UAE will support all political efforts aimed at peace and will remain among the main providers of humanitarian aid.”

Gargash said that during the war on Gaza, the UAE “provided more than $2.57 billion in assistance.”

The international force was proposed as part of US President Donald Trump’s plan for a ceasefire in Gaza.

The force would be made up mainly of troops from Arab and Muslim countries, with Egypt, Qatar and Turkey mentioned as possible participants, along with the UAE.

Trump said last week that he expected the international stabilization force to be deployed in Gaza “very soon.”

The UAE normalized relations with the occupation regime in 2020, during Trump’s first term.
