Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): After several days of declaring a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and while the Zionists have violated it several times, last night, Saturday night, Hussam Badran, a member of the Hamas political bureau, announced in a speech that if the occupying regime resumes the war against the Gaza Strip, the movement is ready to confront.
If the war resumes, the resistance is ready to confront the enemy
In an interview with AFP, Hossam Badran pointed out that the negotiations in the second phase of the agreement to end the war may be more complicated, saying: None of the observers and all those who followed the situation expected that this war would last two years, but the Palestinian resistance, including the Al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of the Hamas movement) and other groups, were able to continue their resistance and can still deal major blows to the occupying enemy.
He added: We hope that we will not return to this stage, but without a doubt, if war is imposed on us again, Hamas will confront it and will use all its capabilities to repel this aggression.
The weapon of resistance belongs to all the Palestinian people and we will not give it up
Regarding the weapons of resistance, Badran said: We must note that they are not just Hamas weapons, and today we are talking about weapons that belong to the entire Palestinian people. Weapons in the Palestinian context are a natural thing and part of our history, present and future.
The Hamas official clarified: We are committed to our weapons and will not hand them over, and having weapons is the natural right of all people living under occupation. The weapons that Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups possess are individual weapons used to defend the people.
The second phase of negotiations will be more difficult
Regarding his prediction for the second phase of negotiations, Hossam Badran said that this phase will definitely not be as easy as the first phase. The second phase is clearly defined by the points in the plan of US President Donald Trump and will bring many complexities and difficulties.
He continued: This situation may require longer negotiations, but before that it also requires a Palestinian national dialogue in order to reach a Palestinian national response.
Hamas will not participate in the signing of the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement
The Hamas leader emphasized that Hamas is indirectly participating in the negotiations through mediators and will not participate in the signing of the agreement in Sharm el-Sheikh, and that only mediators and American and Zionist officials will be present at the ceremony.
It should be noted that the signing ceremony of this agreement to end the war, according to Trump's plan, will be held in Egypt on Monday, and Trump and the heads of a number of countries will attend.
Hamas is making every effort to rebuild Gaza and provide relief to the people
On the other hand, Izzat al-Rishq, one of the senior Hamas leaders, also referred to the humanitarian situation in Gaza in a speech last night, saying: "Despite the enormous destruction left behind by the genocidal war of the fascist Zionist enemy and the lack of signs of life in this strip, we in the Hamas movement emphasize our firm commitment to using all our means and efforts to serve and help the children of our nation in the Gaza Strip."
He added that the Hamas leadership will continue its efforts to establish contacts with friendly countries and various parties.
Izzat al-Rishq emphasized: The aim of these measures is to ensure the entry of humanitarian and relief aid into the Gaza Strip and to monitor the situation to pressure the occupiers to implement all the clauses of the agreement.
He noted: These follow-ups are aimed at ensuring the reconstruction of the ruins of Gaza and the restoration of a dignified life for all the great Palestinian people.
