About 60 killed in Sudanese rapid response drone attack
A health source reported that 60 people were killed in a drone attack by Sudanese rapid response forces on a shelter in the city of Al-Fasher.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: A medical source announced that 60 people were killed in a drone attack by Sudanese rapid response forces on a shelter in the city of Al-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state.

The attack occurred in the wake of military clashes between the rapid response forces led by Mohammed Hamdan Daqlo, known as "Hamidati", and the Sudanese army commanded by Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.

The clashes, which began on April 15, 2023, have intensified after long-standing tensions over the integration of the rapid response forces into the army and disagreements over the timetable for the transfer of power to civilians and the leadership of the unified force.

The initial clashes intensified in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and key regions such as Darfur, quickly escalating into a full-scale civil war.
