Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The general directorate and officials of the Tebyan Center for Cultural and Social Activities issued an official statement, calling Pakistan's air aggression on Afghan soil an illegal, inhumane, and a violation of the principles of neighborliness and international law, and condemned it in the strongest terms.
The Tebyan Center stated in the statement: “Pakistan’s airstrikes, which targeted a civilian market in Paktika province and also violated Kabul’s airspace, criminally hitting parts of the capital, are a despicable act to disrupt stability, peace, and security in Afghanistan and have caused deep anger and disgust among the mujahideen and faithful people of this land.”
The statement continued: “What happened on Thursday night was clearly a violation of the country’s airspace and a clear violation of the principles of good neighborliness and mutual respect between countries. Defending the country’s airspace, Islam, security, and dignity of all Afghan citizens is a religious, national, and conscientious duty on the shoulders of every faithful and mujahideen Afghan. Therefore, Pakistani officials should know that the consequences of such violations will undoubtedly be their own responsibility.”
The Tebyan Center also called on international organizations, human rights institutions, and global communities to break their shameful silence against this action, and while officially condemning it, consider the Pakistani airstrikes as an example of crime and aggression, and prosecute its perpetrators.
Another part of the statement states: "This action is not only a clear violation of Afghanistan's national sovereignty, but also a gross violation of the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law, and remaining silent about it would mean legitimizing state aggression and terror."
