Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates said in a statement that Maulvi Abdul Kabir, the minister of the ministry, met with a delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan in the presence of a number of officials of the Islamic Emirate.
In the meeting, which was held on Kabul-Islamabad relations and solutions to existing problems, members of the Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan praised the peace and stability in Afghanistan and said that after the victory of the Islamic Emirate, the situation in Afghanistan has become more secure.
Pakistani scholars stressed the unity of Islamic societies and expressed hope that by strengthening the Islamic system in Afghanistan, the country can be a model for other Islamic countries.
The Pakistani delegation stressed the need for closeness between Afghan and Pakistani scholars and thinkers and added that dialogue should be a priority to resolve differences between Kabul and Islamabad.
Maulvi Abdul Kabir, while welcoming the delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, appreciated the assistance and cooperation of the people of Pakistan with the people of Afghanistan in the past few decades.
He pointed to the expansion of the Islamic Emirate's cooperation and stressed that dialogue and diplomacy are priorities in solving problems.
The Minister of Refugee Affairs stressed that Kabul and Islamabad should live in an atmosphere of peace and understanding, adding that thanks to the jihad of the Afghan people, stability has been created in the region.
He called the inappropriate treatment of Afghan migrants and military actions a matter of concern and stressed that such actions should not be repeated.
The Pakistani government continues to forcibly deport Afghan refugees, with thousands of people being deported daily.
