Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, in his speech on the anniversary of the martyrdom of two resistance commanders, considered the US plan a continuation of the "Greater Israel" project and warned that this plan, aiming to seize the levers of power of Hamas and absolve the Israeli regime of crimes in Gaza, will eventually reach Lebanon.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Sheikh Naim Qassem began his speech by honoring the memory of martyrs Nabil Qaouq and Sayyed Suhail Al-Husseini. He referred to martyr Qaouq's participation in the imposed war against Iran and said that Iran's enemies have targeted the Islamic Resistance and Palestine and that the entire region must bear its responsibility for the aggressions.

The Hezbollah Secretary General continued by addressing regional political issues and emphasized that all current measures are in line with Israel's grand plan and that America supports it.

He considered the US-proposed peace plan to be fully in line with Israel's interests and considered it fraught with danger for the countries of the region. The main goal of this plan, according to Qassem, was to seize Hamas's power levers, especially Palestinian prisoners, and to absolve Israel of war crimes. He emphasized that this plan is a political conspiracy to achieve goals that were not achieved through war.

The Hezbollah Secretary General warned that the Israeli project would soon reach Lebanon and that no one should consider themselves isolated, because the US and Israel have targeted all countries. He also stated that the final outcome of any action depends on the agreement of the parties and that surrender is unacceptable to the Palestinian people.

Finally, the Hezbollah Secretary General referred to internal issues and said that Israel intended to hold Hezbollah responsible for the spread of the war by not responding to it, but was surprised by Hezbollah's active participation in the government. He considered the main problem in Lebanon to be the existence of political parties that are subject to US and Israeli considerations and have caused the government to fail to pursue national sovereignty. He emphasized that the resistance forces are ready to sacrifice themselves despite the military imbalance.
