The Hamas statement said: This decision was made after extensive consultations with internal leadership institutions, Palestinian groups and movements, as well as with mediator and friendly countries.
Hamas stated: The main goal of this stance is to immediately stop the ongoing aggression, war, and genocide against the people of Gaza, and it is based on the principles, rights, and supreme interests of the Palestinian people.
Honoring the efforts of Islamic and Arab countries
In its statement, Hamas, while appreciating the regional (Islamic and Arab countries) and international efforts, especially those of President Trump, which aim to stop the war, immediately allow aid, oppose the occupation, and prevent the displacement of people, announced the following points to achieve the complete withdrawal of the occupiers and a complete ceasefire:
Complete release of Israeli prisoners according to Trump’s exchange formula
The Hamas movement agrees with the release of all Israeli prisoners, both living and dead. This release must be carried out in accordance with the exchange formula presented in the Trump plan and subject to the provision of the necessary field conditions for the successful implementation of the exchange.
According to the statement, Hamas announced that it “declares its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations on the details of this exchange through mediators.”
Administration of Gaza by the Palestinian Independent Organization (Technocrats)
Hamas reiterates its agreement to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to an independent Palestinian organization (Technocrats). This organization must be formed on the basis of Palestinian national consensus and have regional support.
Reviewing the future of Gaza depends on national consensus
The movement clarified that other issues raised in the Trump plan, which are related to the future of the Gaza Strip and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, must be addressed within the framework of a comprehensive and unified Palestinian national position.
Hamas concluded by adding that these decisions must be based on international laws and resolutions, and that the group will participate in the discussions and reviews with full responsibility as part of this national framework.
