Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – Mazar-e-Sharif: Dr. Sayed Ibrahim Kazemi, dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the Taj Private University in Balkh, said: “September 11 was the beginning of a dark era in Afghanistan; war, poverty, disorder, and widespread deprivation were imposed on our nation by the United States and its allies.”
He added: “After these attacks, NATO member countries led by the United States entered Afghanistan and built bases for themselves, but because they did not have the consent of the people, they were defeated and left after 20 years.”
Dr. Kazemi emphasized that the US invaded Islamic countries under the pretext of fighting terrorism and exposed their people to numerous crises. He said: “The US and NATO suffered the fate of the Soviet Union and Britain in Afghanistan and were defeated.”
He considered the situation in Gaza an example of US and Israeli policies in the region and added: “The US and its ally Israel are trying to destroy Muslims and the Islamic Ummah must wake up from its sleep of neglect.”
On the other hand, Sayyed Sikander Hosseini Bamdad, head of the Ferdowsi Library in Mazar-e-Sharif, said: “After September 11, the US occupied our country with deceptive slogans and committed widespread crimes. NATO’s promises to populate Afghanistan were never fulfilled and today we are witnessing widespread destruction.”
He added: “The US sought to secure its political and economic interests under the slogan of fighting terrorism and has even admitted to creating terrorist groups.”
Sultan Mahmud Mohib, head of the Arzhang private school in Balkh, also referred to the history of the formation of America and said: “This country was founded with the immigration of Europeans and the massacre of Native Americans, and the spirit of violence still exists in its structure.”
He considered the September 11 attacks to be an internal design of America and said: “This attack was an excuse to occupy Islamic and non-Islamic countries. Israel and America can be considered the world’s state terrorists.”
Mohib added: “America and Israel sought to occupy the Middle East after September 11. Even Hillary Clinton has admitted that the ISIS group was created by America.”
He concluded by saying: “The dual confrontations of America and the West in Ukraine and Gaza show that human rights are a political tool for them. The attacks on Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, and even Iran have all been carried out under false pretenses. The main goal is to secure America’s global interests by creating and supporting terrorist groups.”
