Flights suspended again at Ben Gurion Airport due to Yemeni missile attack

3 Sep 2025 - 13:48

Israeli media reported this morning (Wednesday) that flights at Ben Gurion Airport were suspended again following a new missile attack by Yemeni forces on occupied Palestine.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Israeli army confirmed the new missile attack by Yemeni forces on occupied Palestine and announced that "the regime's defense systems are working to intercept and destroy this threat."

In this regard, the Israeli home front announced the activation of warning sirens in several northern areas of Israel, including Tel Aviv. Further details about possible damage or the exact location of the missile impact have not yet been released.

However, Hebrew media reported that the attack caused flights at Ben Gurion Airport to be suspended again and planes that were planning to land at the airport to change their routes again. An action that has become routine at the airfield these days due to the daily missile threats from Yemen.
On the other hand, some Hebrew users of social networks, in the shadow of the severe censorship of war-related news, published images of smoke rising in some areas of occupied Palestine after a Yemeni missile attack and its shrapnel falling.

Moments after the news was published, a spokesman for the occupying army claimed that only one missile had been fired from Yemen towards the occupied territories, which was intercepted and destroyed.

The Yemeni armed forces have not yet issued a statement on this matter. However, images published by settlers show Israeli interceptor missiles attempting to destroy a Yemeni missile.

Some sources also reported a fire in one of the Israeli centers in the center of occupied Palestine after the Israeli Defense Forces attempted to intercept a Yemeni missile, and reported that the shrapnel from the Yemeni missile caused the fire.
