Maximum US Pressure Continues on Iran
The US State Department claimed this morning (Wednesday) that Washington is taking action against those who seek to advance Iran's ballistic missile program.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "Tammy Bruce," a spokesperson for the US State Department, announced this morning (Wednesday, April 30) of the continuation of maximum pressure on Iran's missile program, amid recent negotiations between the two sides.

Bruce claimed in a statement: "The United States has sanctioned six entities and six individuals based in Iran and China for their role in a network that supplied raw materials for ballistic missiles."

The statement, which was posted on the US State Department website, states: "Today's action, which targeted the network that supplied sodium perchlorate and dioctyl sebacate from China to Iran, was taken in line with the US maximum pressure campaign to limit Iran's ballistic missile program and disrupt the activities of the Revolutionary Guard."

He also threatened: “The United States will continue to take action against those who seek to advance Iran’s ballistic missile program, including the procurement of ballistic missile raw materials.”

It was Tuesday evening that the US Treasury Department announced sanctions on the alleged network “providing Iranian missile propellant raw materials.”
