Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Atiqullah Watandost, head of the public library districts of the Ministry of Information and Culture, emphasized the necessity and importance of books and reading in human life in this conference and called on people to pay attention to promoting the culture of reading.
Stating that reading plays a very important role in human life and achieving great goals is not possible without reading, he emphasized the need for young people to study to achieve success.
Meanwhile, Maulvi Mahmudullah Zarar, Head of Information and Culture Department of Balkh Province, considered books and the culture of reading to be an important and valuable issue for today's society and added that self-knowledge and God-knowledge are through books and are dependent on them.
He urged everyone, especially the younger generation, to pay attention and make efforts to develop friendship and familiarity with books.
On the other hand, Sayed Sekander Hosseini Bamdad, head of the Ferdowsi Library in Mazar-e-Sharif, said: This conference was held in cooperation with the Balkh Provincial Information and Culture Department, and holding such programs is useful and effective for growing and promoting the culture of reading at the national level.
It is worth noting that a number of other speakers at this conference considered reading a serious necessity for young people and called for holding such programs at the national level.
