Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Al-Masirah, the Yemeni Interior Ministry announced in a statement today (Monday, April 28) that dozens of civilians, mainly Africans, were killed in last night's US attacks on the refugee settlement center.
The statement from the Yemeni Interior Ministry (Sanaa government) states: "The refugee settlement center is under the supervision of the International Organization for Migration and the Red Cross, and targeting it is considered a complete war crime and a clear violation of all international humanitarian laws and standards."
The Yemeni Interior Ministry stated that “we hold the US government fully responsible for this horrific crime,” noting: “The Interior Ministry strongly condemns the barbaric crime committed by the US aggression this morning by targeting the illegal immigrant settlement center in the city of Saada.”
The Yemeni Interior Ministry also announced that the US deliberately targeted the center, where 115 immigrants of African nationalities were present, and that these attacks left dozens dead and injured.
The ministry emphasized that the aforementioned settlement center was under the supervision of the International Organization for Migration and the Red Cross, and targeting it is considered a “full-fledged war crime,” and that the US government bears full responsibility for this horrific crime against African immigrants.
The Yemeni Interior Ministry also added: “Targeting innocent civilians and immigrants is a crime that adds to the record of US crimes against the Yemeni people and all of humanity.”
Last night and this morning (Monday), the United States launched a new round of airstrikes in support of the Zionist regime against various areas in Yemen, targeting the provinces of Saada, Amran, and Sanaa. The bodies of at least 35 Africans were pulled from the rubble in these attacks.
