Dr. Seyed Ruhollah Hosseini, Cultural Advisor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan, in an interview with AVA, called International Quds Day a symbol of resistance against oppression and support for the oppressed Palestinian people, and said that despite extensive efforts to marginalize the Palestinian issue, the Al-Aqsa storm showed that Quds is still alive and Palestine will one day return to its original owners.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: In an interview with AVA, Dr. Seyed Ruhollah Hosseini, Cultural Advisor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan, emphasized the importance of International Quds Day in the current sensitive circumstances, calling it one of the greatest Islamic and human values in today's world. He emphasized that the oppressed people of Palestine are looking forward to the support of Muslims and free people of the world, while they witness the crimes of the usurping Zionist regime against civilians, especially women and children, every day.

Referring to the latest crimes of the Zionist regime, Dr. Hosseini said: “Just in the early hours of a few days ago, 180 innocent children were martyred as a result of the regime’s relentless bombings in refugee camps; but no voice was heard from anywhere and no support was expressed.” He emphasized that this situation reflects the deadly and worrying global silence in the face of these human tragedies.

Western Media and Covering Up the Truth
Iran’s Cultural Counselor in Afghanistan stated that despite the West’s claims about human rights, their oppressive media empire prevents the voices of the oppressed Palestinians from reaching the world and they always try to justify or hide the brutal crimes of the Zionist regime.

He called International Quds Day “the invalidation of all global conspiracies against the Palestinian people” and emphasized the responsibility of all free people in supporting this cause.

Dr. Hosseini stated that Quds Day belongs to all free people in the world and considered it necessary for Muslim nations and free people of the world to support the Palestinian people. He added: “Celebrating International Quds Day will strengthen the spirit of struggle and resistance in the Palestinian people and will make them more determined in their resistance to the crimes of the Zionist regime.”

America’s Unwavering Support for the Zionist Regime
The Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran also emphasized, referring to the unwavering support of the US government for the Zionist regime: “Undoubtedly, if the American people knew the reality of the events in the occupied territories, they would perhaps have dealt with the leaders of the White House differently.” He considered the martyrdom of 50,000 Palestinian men, women and children in the past year and a half to be an indication of the barbaric nature of the Zionist regime and said: “The only solution against such crimes is resistance.”

Dr. Hosseini continued by condemning the silence of some Islamic countries and international organizations, emphasizing that despite many efforts to marginalize the Palestinian issue, the Al-Aqsa storm showed that Quds is still alive and will return to its original owners.

Afghanistan, a supporter of the Palestinian cause

While expressing his appreciation for the sympathy of the Afghan people with the Palestinian people, he noted: “Despite all the problems and hardships, Afghanistan has always supported the Palestinian cause and has not been indifferent to the oppression and oppression that has befallen this nation.”

In conclusion, he emphasized that International Quds Day is a day of the Islamic nation’s cry and resistance against America and Zionism and their divisive policies. He added: “Despite all the pressures and conspiracies, victory will belong to Islam and Palestine will definitely be liberated.”
