The Holy Quran is the Sharia and Divine basis for supporting the Palestinian resistance/The deadly silence against the crimes of the Zionist regime must be broken

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: The 6th International Quds Sharif Congress with the slogan "Hay Ali Al-Quds" was held on the afternoon of Wednesday, 26th of March, with the presence of 80 foreign guests from 13 countries including Afghanistan, including 20 Palestinian scholars, leaders and representatives of Abrahamic religions, various Islamic sects, as well as ambassadors and senior diplomats of Islamic countries in the city of "Aslawiyya" in the province of Bushehr in the south of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, head of the Committee to Support the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People and organizer of this congress, considered the purpose of holding this conference to express disgust at the brutal actions of the Zionist occupation regime and support the oppressed Palestinian people, adding: "This gathering is a response to the historic call of Imam Khomeini (RA) 47 years ago, when he declared Quds Day as the International Day of Support for Palestine. Today, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, His Eminence Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (may God have mercy on him), has kept this flag high, and we, too, are responding to this call of truth by holding these programs in all parts of the country.”

Ayatollah Akhtari, expressing his gratitude to the officials of Bushehr province, especially the governor and representative of the Supreme Leader, said: “This year, thanks to the efforts of the officials, this program was held in Bushehr, the province of resistance and steadfastness; a province that has always been at the forefront of the fight against the enemies of Islam and has presented great generals and martyrs to the Islamic Revolution.”

Referring to the wide media reach of the ceremony, he emphasized: “Today, the message of this program is not limited to the people of Bushehr; rather, thanks to the media, it will be spread throughout the country and even beyond the borders, and will reach the ears of Muslims and freedom-seekers around the world.”

 

Citing verses from the Quran, the head of the Committee to Support the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People stated: “The Holy Quran, as the last divine book, has given us the permission to defend ourselves against the oppressors, and this is the religious and divine basis for supporting the Palestinian resistance.”

Referring to the global awakening against the crimes of the Zionist regime, Ayatollah Akhtari said: “Today, not only the Muslims of the world, who number nearly two billion, but also many non-Muslim freedom-seekers in Europe, America and other parts of the world, have shown that they have awakened by holding widespread protests. They also stand with the Palestinian people.”

He continued, expressing regret over the silence of some Islamic governments in the region, adding: “Unfortunately, some neighboring countries of Palestine, with weak and self-serving governments, have not only remained silent against the crimes, but have also caused great shame to the Islamic Ummah, scholars and religious leaders by betraying and stabbing them in the back. This deadly silence must be broken with resistance and enlightenment.”

 

He noted: “If we cannot stand against this silence today, tomorrow we will have to answer to God. The awakening of nations and the global outcry in support of the Palestinian people are signs of the imminent end of the era of domination and arrogance.”

In conclusion, Ayatollah Akhtari expressed his hope that the holy month of Ramadan will be accepted and that “this program and similar gatherings will continue in other Islamic countries, and despite the lack of time to benefit from all speakers and guests, we hope that these meetings will bring great blessings on the path of resistance and freedom.”
