Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Kabul: On the eve of International Quds Day, the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) held a webinar titled “International Quds Day, a cry for unity of the Islamic Ummah in support of Palestine” with the presence of prominent Afghan figures and thinkers.
In a speech at the webinar, Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Hosseini Mazari, head of the Tebyan Center and AVA News Agency, explained the critical and dire situation of the Palestinian people. Referring to the widespread problems and brutalities imposed on the Palestinian people by the Zionist regime and its supporters, he said: “Unfortunately, the situation of Palestine has been facing deep problems and numerous dilemmas for decades.”
Hosseini Mazari referred to the recent humanitarian disasters in Gaza and added: “In the past year and a half, we have witnessed historic and unprecedented disasters imposed on the people of Gaza. So far, more than 50,000 people from Gaza have been martyred, and the economic, social, and political structures of this region have been completely destroyed.”
He also referred to the difficult and difficult conditions of the survivors of the people of Gaza, and stated: The survivors live in very difficult conditions, but their courageous resistance continues.
The head of the Tebyan Center examined the reasons for the failure to resolve the Palestinian problem and the failure of the people of this land to achieve their demands. He stated that the main reason for this issue is the differences between Muslims, and he described the dependence of some Islamic countries on Israel, America, and the West as key factors in these differences.
Hosseini Mazari emphasized that these countries not only do not stand against the Zionist regime, but also support it in critical times. He referred to the measures that some countries are taking to help the Palestinian people, and said that governments dependent on the West often make excuses and prevent this aid with cowardly actions.
He also pointed out the fear of some countries from the reactions of Israel and its supporters, adding that these fears cause these countries to refrain from providing effective support to Palestine. Hosseini Mazari continued that some countries are avoiding helping the Palestinians under the pretext of lack of facilities or geographical distance.
Hosseini Mazari added; Although a limited number of Islamic countries in the region have provided serious support to the people of Gaza, it does not seem to be enough.
Referring to the dispersion and division among Islamic countries, the head of the AVA news agency stated that this situation allows the enemy to exploit existing weaknesses and has occupied the land of Jerusalem for more than seventy years. He warned that the Zionist regime is planning genocide and cleansing of the Palestinians.
Hosseini Mazari emphasized the need for unity of the Islamic world for the liberation of Palestine, saying that only with the cooperation and solidarity of Islamic countries can the liberation of the land of Jerusalem and the fulfillment of the demands of the Palestinian people be achieved.
Continuing his speech, he emphasized the importance of the role of nations in supporting Palestine, saying: “Muslims must unite. Governments may not act quickly or even take any action in this area, no unity and coordination will be established, and no effort will be made to provide assistance to the Palestinian people. Here, it is the turn of nations.”
The head of the Tebyan Center pointed to recent examples of widespread demonstrations by people in support of Palestine, adding: Just as in the past year and a half, nations in the region and the world supported the Palestinian people with widespread demonstrations and significant measures were taken to confront the Israeli regime, now it is necessary for people to put pressure on governments and force them to stand with the Palestinian people.
Hosseini Mazari also emphasized the need to create harmony and unity among nations, saying: “In the first stage, nations must create harmony and unity among themselves and then stand with the Palestinian people.” Referring to the collective power of nations, he stated that only through solidarity and cooperation can real change be achieved and effective support for the oppressed people of Palestine be continued.
He also pointed out the importance of raising awareness and information about the situation in Palestine, saying: “We must make the voice of the Palestinian people heard by the world and inform them of the oppression that has been inflicted on these people.”
Hosseini Mazari noted that this responsibility falls on the shoulders of all Muslims and freedom-loving people in the world to strive for justice and freedom in the land of Jerusalem.
Continuing his speech, he mentioned five key measures to help the people of Gaza and Palestine, and naming propaganda and media measures as the first measure, he said that every individual and movement must take action in the field of explaining and raising awareness about the oppression of the people of Gaza and the oppression of the Israeli regime and its supporters, especially the United States.
In this regard, the head of Ava News Agency called for stirring up global public opinion against the Israeli regime so that the voices of the Palestinian people can be heard around the world.
The head of the Tebyan Center, pointing out that the third action is arms aid and the provision of facilities, called for the immediate sending of food, clothing, heating and cooling equipment, and especially weapons to the people of Gaza. He emphasized that the people of Gaza are resilient, but they may have difficulty meeting their basic needs, and the Islamic world has a responsibility to help them.
He considered sending troops to be the fourth action, and emphasized the need to send trained and skilled forces from Islamic countries to the conflicting areas to fight alongside Hamas and Islamic Jihad organizations against the Israeli regime.
Hosseini Mazari emphasized the need to increase public pressure as the fifth action, emphasizing the importance of increasing public pressure on the Israeli regime, the United States, and its allies. He believes that these pressures could lead to a reduction in attacks and restrictions against the people of Gaza and provide an opportunity for the Palestinian people to organize and resist.
