Palestine under siege of global silence; Media should break the wall of censorship!
The head of the AVA news agency in Khorasan Razavi, emphasizing the role of the media in breaking the wall of global censorship, says that the truth of the occupation and crimes of the Zionist regime must reach the ears of the world through documentation, networking, and media storytelling. While the world is watching the genocide in Gaza in heavy silence, independent media are the only hope that can remove the veil of distortion and be the voice of the oppressed people of Palestine.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mashhad: Sayed Hassan Hosseini, head of the Afghan Voice (AVA) news agency in Khorasan Razavi, says on the occasion of the International Quds Day: In a situation where Palestine is facing genocide and systematic occupation by the Zionist regime, independent media have a heavy duty to break the wall of censorship and expose the crimes of the occupiers.

Media; Frontline of the Battle Against Distortion of Truth
Emphasizing that today’s war is taking place in the information and narrative arenas rather than on the battlefield, Hosseini said: “One of the main tools of the Zionist regime is to distort reality and present the truth upside down. For years, the Zionists, by controlling the major global media, have presented a one-sided and distorted narrative of the occupation of Palestine, while keeping their brutal crimes under the veil of silence. Independent media, especially Islamic media, have a duty to remove this veil of censorship and reveal the truth to the world’s public opinion.”

According to this analyst, the media is a more powerful weapon than missiles against the Zionist regime’s occupation.

He continued by pointing out practical media solutions to confront censorship and support the Palestinian people:

Documentation and production of influential content:
He said: The media should use video reports, analytical documentaries, and exclusive interviews to show the truth of the occupation with documented evidence. Publishing real images and videos of Zionist crimes has a significant impact on attracting global public opinion.

Media networking and international cooperation:
According to this expert on regional issues, independent Islamic and justice-seeking media should unite and form an international network of journalists, documentarians, and analysts. Coordination in publishing news, unanimity in condemning crimes, and using the capacity of social media to spread the message of resistance are among the measures that should be considered.

Exposing the Western media:
Hosseini added: Western media are trying to distort the image of the oppression of the Palestinian people and portray their resistance as terrorism. Independent media must expose these lies and, citing evidence, expose the true face of the crimes of the Zionist regime and the complicity of Western governments.

Supporting Palestinian journalists and media activists:
He emphasized: Many Palestinian journalists and media workers are the targets of direct attacks by the Zionist regime. The global media community must support them and, by publishing their reports, not allow the voices of the oppressed to be lost in the din of the mainstream media.

Creating global media campaigns:
The media analyst added that launching media campaigns on social networks and cyberspace, widely publishing supportive hashtags, and launching news waves at the international level can sensitize public opinion and put pressure on governments supporting the Zionist regime.

Silence in the face of oppression is complicity in crime
Hosseini warned that if independent media remain silent in the face of Zionist crimes, this silence will mean complicity in oppression. He emphasized: “We live in an era where information is power. If the media does not convey the truth to the world, the Zionist regime and its supporters will continue to suppress, occupy, and commit genocide. The media must see themselves at the forefront of this struggle.”

He emphasized: “The world must understand that Palestine is not just an Arab or Islamic issue, but a human issue. If the media does its duty properly, this voice of demand for justice will not be silenced.”

Israel, a regime that knows no bounds for crimes
Hosseini concluded: The Zionist regime has repeatedly shown over the decades that it recognizes no bounds for its crimes. From the bombing of residential areas and the massacre of children in Gaza to the targeting of journalists, doctors, and aid workers, all are examples of the brutality of this regime. Even human rights organizations have repeatedly confirmed that Israel has used internationally banned weapons against civilians and is vigorously pursuing a policy of displacing Palestinians. These crimes continue in the shadow of American support and the silence of international communities, but independent media can stop this cycle of oppression by exposing and telling the truth.
