Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: With the arrival of the Nights of Power and the revelation of the Holy Quran, yesterday afternoon (Saturday, 22 March), a large public conference under the name "Celebrating the Nights of Power, the revelation of the Holy Quran and a gathering of sympathy and harmony" was held by the Office of Public Relations of Shiite and Hazara Elders in the presence of officials of the Islamic Emirate, scholars, influential figures, political and cultural figures, and the general public, university professors, media activists and thousands of religious people of the capital in the west of Kabul.
Some foreign countries are trying to create discord among the people of Afghanistan
In this conference, Maulvi Abdullah Sarhadi, the Governor of Bamyan, emphasized the need for national unity in Afghanistan and announced that division and discord in the last few decades have faced the country with many problems. He added that now is a good opportunity to eliminate this problem and create unity in society.
Maulvi Sarhadi warned that some foreign countries are trying to create division among the people of Afghanistan and called on the country’s youth, educators and scholars to stand against these conspiracies and prevent the influence of foreign elements.
Referring to the bitter experiences of the past, he emphasized that war and division have had no result other than destruction for Afghanistan and that the plans of hostile countries against this country will never come to fruition.
The governor of Bamyan also pointed out the need for people to cooperate with the Islamic Emirate and said that the development and consolidation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty is in the hands of the country’s own people. He called on the refugees who have gone abroad to return, saying that their dignity and future will be secured within their own country, not in foreign countries.
Muslims must come out of inaction
Maulvi Khan Mohammad Muhaiq, advisor to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, emphasized in a speech the importance of the Holy Quran as a comprehensive and guiding book and said that the Quran guarantees the worldly and hereafter affairs of all beings.
Referring to the teachings of the Holy Quran, he added that there is no discrimination and prejudice based on ethnicity, race, and gender in the Quran, and God has said that if you do not change your situation, we will not change your situation either.
Referring to the conditions of some Islamic countries, the advisor to the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that today the situation in Yemen, Lebanon, and Gaza is like Karbala, which he mentioned as the first Qibla of Muslims, and added that Jerusalem is in the hands of the Zionist regime today, but Islamic countries are silent.
Finally, he emphasized that Muslims must stop being inactive and said that just celebrating and chanting slogans is not enough, but Islamic countries must take action, and he also added that if this trend continues, it is feared that the Two Holy Mosques will also be desecrated by the Zionist regime and global arrogance.
No one represents the Shia people of Afghanistan abroad
Sheikh Madar Ali Karimi, Deputy Minister of Urban Development and Housing, emphasized in his speech the Shia community’s commitment to national unity and avoiding internal conflicts, saying: “The Shia community does not want to enter the field of violence and war and has always worked to create solidarity in the country, and today this community stands by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and declares its support.”
He also emphasized to the public that the people of Afghanistan will no longer be deceived by foreign conspirators and will remain by the Islamic Emirate to preserve and strengthen this system after the victory of the jihad.
Sheikh Karimi reacted to some meetings and conferences held abroad on behalf of the Shia community and stated: “No one represents the Shia people of Afghanistan abroad, and only the people themselves represent themselves.”
Continuing his speech, he referred to the achievements of the Islamic Emirate in the field of development and reconstruction of the country and said that one of the most important projects currently underway is the Qosh Tepe Canal, which will benefit millions of people in the country, and he also referred to other infrastructure projects.
Sheikh Madar Ali Karimi also referred to regional and global developments and said that while arrogant countries and global powers turned people’s ceremonies and programs into sorrow by occupying Afghanistan, now the Zionist regime is brutally martyring thousands of women, children and civilians in Gaza, adding that no one is raising their voices and everyone has remained silent.
He further stated that whenever Islamic countries seek to establish an Islamic government and strengthen independent sovereignty, they face a wave of opposition and condemnation, while no one has brought the crimes of NATO forces and the leaders of the Zionist regime to justice.
The Minister of Urban Development and Housing referred to the Islamic Emirate as a system that listens to the people and its ministers travel to even the most remote parts of the country to investigate the problems of the people. He considered this a sign of the government's commitment to providing services and solving the problems of the people.
The Islamic Emirate has made significant progress despite sanctions
Meanwhile, Maulvi Noorul Haq Anwar, Head of the Department of Affairs, announced that some hostile countries are trying to find a weak point in the Islamic Emirate and use it against the government.
He added that these countries have so far implemented several projects to create division and destroy unity in Afghanistan, but the Islamic Emirate is aware of its responsibilities today and is trying to implement more useful and effective measures.
Maulvi Anwar emphasized that the Islamic Emirate has made significant progress despite the sanctions, and the provision of services by this system is neither a show nor a request, but is aimed at improving the living conditions of the people, and today those who were deprived of citizenship services should benefit from them.
The head of the Department of Affairs also mentioned Afghanistan's independence and said that the Islamic Emirate, as an independent system, establishes its relations with other countries based on national interests, and these relations should not be requests.
He emphasized that Afghanistan has witnessed extensive destruction in the infrastructural, spiritual, intellectual, cultural and physical sectors over the past four decades, and the reconstruction of the country requires time and continuous effort.
According to him, the Islamic Emirate is committed to balanced development and providing services to the people of Afghanistan.
