US cancels $10 million bounty on Interior Minister
A day after a US delegation visited Kabul, the US government has cancelled the bounty on the head of Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani.
Afghan Voice Agency - Kabul: The US has cancelled the bounties on Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani and two other members of the Islamic Emirate.

The list of those who have been denied the bounty is said to include Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Abdul Aziz Haqqani, and Yahya Haqqani.

Several media outlets have claimed that after Washington failed to secure the release of its prisoners from the Islamic Emirate through economic and political pressure, the Trump administration has finally given in to the Islamic Emirate’s demands in exchange for the release of an American prisoner.

It is said that in its negotiations with the American side, the Islamic Emirate requested the cancellation of the millions of dollars in rewards from the United States for the leaders of the Islamic Emirate, and the Trump administration ultimately accepted this request.
